The Super App provides a host of daily services that people need to move around, to order things and to transfer money in one unified smartphone app. Our goal is to simplify people?s daily lives so that they can spend their precious time and mindshare on things that really matter and on realizing their potential.Careem became a wholly owned subsidiary of Uber Technologies, Inc. in January 2020.www.careem.comAs Product Manager, you will play a critical role enabling Careem?s growth while partnering with internal and external stakeholders to understand and mitigate against key risks from fraud across the Careem Super App.In this role you will work closely with engineering, data science, design and many cross functional teams to create the ideal customer experience across customer facing initiatives. The scope of this role includes designing new fraud detection methods and tools, working with other product managers, monitoring the data from our platform and payment systems to build a robust fraud detection and prevention system.What youll be doing

• Define and direct the risk strategy ? from scoping to design to execution ? through supporting launches and growth of Careem?s new products and markets
• Authoring product specification, and experimentation design. Owning products through to successful execution and analysis
• Understand customer behavior (present and future). Ask the right questions and conduct analysis to gain current and future customer behavioral patterns - good and bad
• Be a trusted partner by liaising with teams in all our markets to help bridge the product gaps between customers, operational teams on the ground and your product team
• Plan, organize, and deliver new fraud risk products and features to the market. Support other global product launches and ongoing product adoption
• Drive strategic alignment and enroll other teams into your product vision and align roadmaps to ensure cohesive product functionality and value proposition
• Support the execution of the product roadmap through experimentation
• Continue learning about the fraud and abuse typologies, and payments through industry engagement and independent research, and share this knowledge

What youll need to succeed

• 5+ years of fraud and risk (Integrity) product management experience

• Deep customer empathy and curiosity that?s paired with knowledge of how to gather and synthesize consumer needs

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills; ability to translate strategy into clear and actionable plans for Product Development, Engineering, Design and Marketing
• Experience designing and building fraud and risk systems, with implementing fraud risk best practices with a track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
• Entrepreneurial: Having worked in a fast paced environment, with competing resources and priorities, Opinionated and willing to make calls with limited information. Ability to navigate through ambiguity to advocate for resources
• Technical: Comfortable with delving into the product, the platform and the implementation details. Able to engage with engineering beyond just product and user experience needs; willing to roll up sleeves and design scalable and extensible solutions
• Metrics driven: Proficiency in identifying, defining, tracking and acting upon metrics. Experience identifying KPIs and working with engineering and analytics on instrumentation and monitoring
• Strong analytical, prioritization, and problem solving skills and willingness to roll up ones sleeves to get the job done
• Experience leading cross functional teams to deliver complex projects with multiple dependencies and constraints in a highly dynamic environment
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
