Job Description

Our client is building a digital ecosystem for the global seafood trade. Their mission is to create an efficient, resilient and transparent supply chain, to build a sustainable future for the seafood industry.Your Responsibilities

  • Work with the CTO to strategise the development of product from a technological perspective
  • Aligning with the CTO and the development team for feature prioritization and roadmap planning
  • Executing and delivering on measurable results in a high performing environment
  • Leading the development of product modules through, but not limited to, use cases, user stories, and technical/functional requirements
  • Collecting insights from customers (buyers and sellers), competitors, industry and academic learnings, and partners, to further develop the product
  • Generate KPIs for product benchmarking
  • Recruitment of and management of technical experts to develop the platform, integration into the platform, and backend systems, such as but not limited to Salesforce and Odoo
  • Building and driving the roadmap and being accountable for the impact and outcome
  • Engage with the product team to constantly improve KPIs and the customer experience, while in line with the overall product vision
  • Oversee the product line?s life cycle and anticipate any problems
Your Qualifications
  • 5+ years? product development experience in a supervisory capacity
  • Knowledge of the UAE market and industry
  • Strong data product management experience
  • Experience in data structures and ML models tradeoffs, limitations, and advances
  • Excellent analytical skills, especially with regard to setting success metrics and using analytics tools (e.g. HotJar, Amplitude and Google Analytics
  • Strong motivational skills, especially when it comes to leading a team
