Job Description

About this role:

  • Responsible for executing, leading and coordinating relevant delivery of process engineering activities associated with Ammonia production and synthesis plant
  • Act as process team lead for feasibility and concept study, pre-FEED, FEED, basic engineering for the assigned projects
  • Develop concept of project scope
  • Develop initial design calculations and preparation of conceptual diagrams
  • Prepare/Review of process simulations to model plant behaviour and operating conditions to optimize process design and equipment sizing/rating.
What you need to bring:
  • Have Ammonia Plant Design experience at Concept, FEED or Detailed Design/ EPC phase and have awareness of Licensed technologies
  • Have experience in synthesis processes, technologies and plant design including Haber Bosch, Fischer Tropsch etc.
  • Have a minimum of 15 years of professional experience in design and consultancy for Ammonia processing facilities and Fertilizer industry with actual project experience with at least 2 different licensed processes
  • Have a minimum 5 years working experience as a lead engineer
  • Have a good overview about most important process licensors and technologies
  • Be experienced in the execution of conceptual studies, optimization work and front end engineering design stage of projects
  • Have familiarity with industry-wide process simulation modelling software
  • Have a Chemical Engineering degree from accredited University. Postgraduate degree will be an advantage
  • Have an excellent verbal and written communication, report writing and presentation skills.
