The Senior Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to ensure timely completion within budget. They coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to identify potential delays and implement corrective actions. The role requires strong technical expertise in planning software, project management, and engineering principles.Key Responsibilities:Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar planning tools.Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly to reflect actual status.Analyze project data to identify potential risks, delays, and bottlenecks.Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to align project activities.Prepare progress reports and presentation for management and stakeholders.Ensure adherence to project deadlines, scope, and budget constraints.Assist in resource planning and allocation.Conduct schedule risk analysis and recommend mitigation measures.Support change management and variation processes.Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.Required Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.Proven experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects.Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar.Strong understanding of project management principles and construction processes.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
