Senior MicrobiologistLocation:AE Sharjah, United Arab Emirates - All, AE - Prepare and write relevant QC Microbiology procedures.- Maintain Standard Strain Cultures.- Initiate and execute Microbial Test Method Validation.- Record, analyse and interpret microbiological data.- Prepare microbiological media, reagents and growth Promotion Test (GPT).- Conduct Microbial Limit Test (MLT) for starting materials, bulk, finished products, stability, PDL trial batches, packaging materials and purified water samples.- Conduct environmental monitoring utilizing methodologies such as : Passive Monitoring, Personal Monitoring, Equipment Monitoring and Air Monitoring.- Perform bioassay as well as manage the working and primary reference standard process.- Collaborate with QA to conduct validation of HVAC and compressed air systems.- Ensure all required documentation are in accordance to established procedures and GLP.- Participate in the ongoing Quality Control process improvement projects..- Engage in other assignments as deemed necessary by the supervisor.- Ensure that GLP requirements are continuously met in the designated area within the Quality Control department.- Perform assigned tasks promptly, efficiently and within the established lead time.- Consistently produce work that is accurate and error free.- Identify opportunities for improvement within the QMS and processes as part of the continuous process improvement initiative.- Create and implement the relevant Quality Control Microbiology documents such as SOPs, Specifications and Protocols.- Oversee the Calibration and Qualification of laboratory equipment.- Maintain and improve laboratory efficiency by implementing improvements, new techniques, special training, new processes and/or improvements to work flow.- Oversee the inventory level of laboratory needs such as equipments, glassware, chemicals and reagents, and supplies.- Collaborate with other departments on a daily basis to communicate standards and rush testing to meet business demands while taking into consideration balance resources to support various operations.
