Senior Manager - Quality Improvement and Professional learning - Charter Schools - Aldar Education - (2200007D)DescriptionAldar Education is currently seeking a Senior Manager - Quality Improvement and Professional learning - Charter Schools to support our growing family of owned and operated schools in the UAE. Due to planned current and future expansion we are looking to add to our Team supporting our British, US and IB curricula network of schools.The successful candidates will be closely aligned with our core values and ethos and possess a genuine understanding and appreciation of the values of the region.Job PurposeThis role is based out of our Headquarters but located in Charter schools and involves supporting our family of schools to develop our curriculum, improve understanding and standards across grade levels, accurately assessing student achievement and progress and analysing data to improve outcomes and support the development of our schools.This role also requires a strong knowledge and experience of inclusion, SEN and ELL and an understanding of how systems in schools work to improve outcomes for students.Responsibilities:Main Duties:

  • Design, implement, and improve Charter quality standards across our schools.
  • Analyse data and monitor outcomes in order to find areas for growth.
  • Assist in the recruiting process to ensure strong candidates are identified and retained in our schools.
  • To have a strong understanding of the US curriculum and it expectations, standards and assessments processes.
  • Training, motivating, coaching, and upskilling staff to ensure that standards are met and outcomes are improved across the group.
  • Create reports to track progress against evaluation criteria and KPI expectations.
  • Formulate strategies to increase productivity towards learning outcomes.
  • Review processes in order to ensure that they align with current trends and give maximum effectiveness in learning outcomes.
  • Testing and sampling learning resources, ensuring they meet set standards and specifications to upskill staff, support improvement and increase outcomes for students.
  • Develop quality control policies and standards for schools to implement, follow and embrace.
  • Training staff members on the quality control processes and policies
  • Overseeing quality control processes, and report back to Group Head and Director of Charter regularly.
  • Conducting in-house audits of inspection readiness aligned with existing internal processes. Support areas for improvement.
  • Supporting and regularly monitor the complaints Officer with any Adek, staff or parental complaints were needed.
  • Update the Group Head and Director of Charter weekly on outstanding complaints.
  • Assessing operational data and identifying quality problems alongside the Charter Team at HQ and in schools.
  • To support schools in school improvement, SEF writing and SIP development. To ensure that development points are addressed and result in improved outcomes for students.
  • To quality assure action plans for leaders and staff in schools and support where needed during capability processes.
  • To have an overview of staff and teaching quality across the group.
  • To quality assure the whole school monitoring plan across all schools and ensure they are comprehensive, triangulated and take into context the individual school cohort.
  • To be the lead focal point for external evaluations across the group.
Specific Duties:
  • To be the focal point for external and internal evaluations
  • To support schools in the areas of quality assurance and evaluation
  • To create a consistent understanding of standards and outcomes across all our schools.
  • To support schools towards the achievement of KPIs
  • To create and implement Charter standards across the group
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor?s degree in Education or Bachelor?s degree with postgraduate qualifications in teaching (eg. PGCE).
  • MA in Education is an advantage but not required.
Minimum Experience:
  • At least 2 years senior leadership in a school setting. This would ideally be at Vice or Assistant Principal level.

  • Qualifications in teaching and leadership.
