Job summaryWere building something pretty cool at Amazon MENA in Dubai, and were hiring!Amazon is seeking a seasoned product professional interested in disrupting cross-border commerce in MENA and expanding our offering to new customers. The qualified candidate will bring their subject matter experience as well as their product development expertise and build customer experiences across new geographic expansions. This includes improving existing features, as well as developing new technologies, that improve our offering to non-footprint country expansion destinations. This person is responsible managing a team of product managers for setting the vision, priorities and roadmap with partner teams across tech, business, operations and finance.A rock-star candidate will also excel in Think Big, Hiring and Developing the Best and will have analytical horsepower, business judgment, a deep curiosity about how things work, and a passion for creating a world class shopping experience for our customers.Bachelors degree; MBA is a plus7+ years of experience in product management or general management10+ years in people managementHigh attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneouslyExperience in agile, lean startup product management processes.Superior verbal and written communications skillsStrong organization and project management skillsAbility to deal with ambiguous problems and build solutions with proper product & project management techniquesAbility to influence multiple stakeholders and lead cross-functional projects across category or other departmentsExperience using Excel and similar analytical tools to measure performance, determine improvements and innovations, and to support project requests from partner teams
