  • Advising country management on shaping efficient and resilient balance sheet.
  • Support Country ALCO in developing solutions to maintain a strong balance sheet, liquidity and regulatory capital which supports business objectives and complies with Group policy, PRA and local regulatory requirements ? along with ALCO Secretarial Work
  • Oversight of the UAE balance sheet management ensuring Reporting, monitoring & reviewing structural liquidity & capital risks in line with the Risk Frameworks. Whilst providing leadership and initiative to improve the returns, capital & liquidity metric?s
  • Help the Regional Treasury deliver the capital and liquidity agenda across UAE, in addition to
  • To build and engage across Finance team and strive to exceed expectation and live SCB values
  • Strategic management of the balance sheet aimed at achieving sustained growth, profitability, and solvency.
Business
  • Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group/Country operates
Processes
  • Act as the process owner of UAE ALCO pack.
Risk Management
  • Awareness of risk limits/MATs in line with the Group?s Capital and Liquidity Risk Type Framework (?RTF?) and regional regulatory requirements
Governance
  • Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group/Country operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role
Regulatory & Business Conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group?s Values and Code of Conduct.

Further to this specifically the following need to be covered in each of -UAE Balance Sheet & Capital Management
  • Reporting, monitoring & reviewing structural liquidity & capital risks in line with the Risk Frameworks.
  • Contributing to the SCB UAE capital and liquidity agenda, in addition to advising the ALCO on shaping efficient and resilient balance sheets.
  • Developing solutions to maintain a strong balance sheet, liquidity, and regulatory capital.
  • Ensuring local liquidity & capital regulations are adhered to & keep ALCO updated on the developments
  • Ensure the UAE branch always has an updated Recovery Plan
  • Ensure the UAE branch always has an updated Balance Sheet Manual
  • Ensuring ICAAP document and regulations are updated in line with Group/regulatory guidelines
  • Ensuring the Fund transfer pricing (FTP) policy especially One-Bank FTP principles are correctly reflected in Country via ALCO oversight
  • Ensuring Group Liquidity Metrics (LCR and NSFR) are always adhered to ? including reporting to Group Liquidity team
  • Capital adequacy ratio reporting, and related supports as required by UAE Central Bank
