About Our ClientOur client is an international leading FMCG companyProviding strategic advice to members of the regional management team and other stakeholdersProviding legal support for the IMEA region relating particularly to commercial, corporate (including M&A), governance and employment mattersDrafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, including complex and multi-jurisdictional contracts; develop contract strategiesSupporting with customer claim management, advice in warranty and product liability casesManaging and coordinating legal disputesConducting internal compliance investigationsIdentifying, reporting, monitoring and mitigating legal and compliance risksMonitoring the development of laws and regulations as well as best practices relevant for the company; communicating such developments within the organizationDeveloping and conducting legal and compliance trainingsDeveloping and implementing internal policies and processesCorporate housekeeping for subsidiaries in IMEA regionInstructing and supervising external counselCommunicating with authoritiesLegal support to group functions and global or cross-regional projects and working groupsSupporting the regional Legal & Compliance teamThe Successful Applicant
  • Degree in law from reputable university; qualified to practice law in relevant jurisdiction
  • 8-10 years of relevant work experience as in-house counsel in international company, preferably in manufacturing, packaging or FMCG; work experience in international/regional law firm a plus
  • Work experience in relevant IMEA jurisdictions
