The Special Education Depertment is looking for an Experienced Lab Specialist for the SPED Child and Family Lab in UAEU Campus to Support Students in UAEU and Provide Assessment Services to Families with children with Determination and the Community. The SPED Lab Specialist will be Responsible to: Provide initial assessment and diagnostic services for students with special needs including students with language and communication disorders, autism, gifted and talented and learning disabilities and emotional / behavioral Disorders, ADHD etc. Supervising and training students to assess and support students with disabilities. Work closely with faculty and students in providing assessment and intervention for special needs children and to support parents of children with disabilities. Assist faculty in research and train Special Education students in data collection and provide consultations in the area of research. Organize Seminars and Workshops for SPED students in collaboration with SPED faculty. Minimum Qualification Masters Degree in Special Education or related field Preferred Qualification .Experience in working with students with special needs including students with autism, gifted and talented children, language delayed, learning disabilities, and speech and language disorders. Knowledge and Experience in Assessment and Diagnostic procedures in Education and Research
