KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESManage the company’s immigration and sponsorship program, includes but is not limited to; serving as a US immigration resource for Talent Acquisition, Foreign Nationals, HR Business Partners, and Managers, working with our outside immigration counsel for visa processing needs and ensuring all compliance requirements are met, acting as point of contact of visa/ immigration information for internal stakeholders and candidates, and by staying up to date on immigration requirements and assisting with communication and implementation of changes to the programFacilitate the initiation and conclusion of the recruitment process, including validating headcount budget alignment, gathering required data to initiate hiring, and reviewing and approving offer letters to ensure compliance with organizational policies and budgetary guidelinesConduct new hire orientation and facilitate setting up all relevant systems (travel, expense reimbursement, payroll etc.) for incoming/new hire employeesParticipate in facilitating the yearly performance review and merit process for your assigned location (Corporate)Manage the company’s relocation program, includes but is not limited to; responding to hiring manager and employee emails to advise proper process for domestic relocation, creating relocation packages for offer letters using internal/external benchmarking data, tracking budgets and processing costs for relocation, and serving as a point of contact for relocating employeesManage the company’s cross-border taxation program (as part of mobility) – this involves working with DP World’s traveling workforce to ensure all tax withholding and taxation guidelines are filed from a company and employee perspectiveServe as a point of contact/gatekeeper for s held within the HRIS System. Create, add and audit s as necessaryMaintain and gather information for and assists with the preparation of reportsWork with managers to resolve issues and complaints, conduct investigations and issue disciplinary actions as appropriateManage the off-boarding process with terminated employees including conducting all necessary exit meetings as well as ensuring termination from the relevant internal systemsOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business or a field related to the position5-7+ year experience in performing professional level human resources, payroll, customer service, or general office duties in a logistics, manufacturing or related fieldAdditional education, training and/or work experience in area of specialization inherent to the position may be requiredProficiency with computers including Microsoft Office products and HRIS systemsKnowledge of principles and procedures used in Human ResourcesKnowledge and understanding of local laws, rules, and/or regulations affecting human resources administration; ability to develop a broad knowledge of those of the companyKnowledge of U.S. visa types, processes and experience reviewing case facts to determine the optimal filing typeStrong experience advising on I-9 compliance questionsExposure to overall mobility functions is a plusProficiency with computers including Microsoft Office products and HRIS systemsHigh degree of flexibility, organization, self-motivation, efficiency, and attention to detailTeamwork mentality and willingness to learn and pitch in to helpSuccessful ability to build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external
