Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:To manage core management and accounting functions - monthly accounts and project appraisals, ensure managers receive timely, accurate and relevant information to make effective decisions. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Consolidate, interpret financial data and performance status and provide feedback to Department Head for all cost centres.
  • Prepare monthly flash reports and detailed financials report and review forecasted revenue on a quarterly basis.
  • Prepare the quarterly updates for the monthly reports for all departments
  • Prepare timely and accurate presentation of monthly financials to departments
  • Analyse and validate monthly financial results from all our logistics sites with breakdown on revenue, EBITDA, EBIT, ROCE, CAPEX and other financial metrics, KPIs.
  • Perform any task or adhoc exercise.
  • Provide support in Oracle implementation with all region in coordination with HO-IT and in conjunction with all logistics sites in order to manage the Financial system through cloud.
  • Prepare Financial analysis across all region for customers, service offerings in order to establish accuracy.
  • Prepare and assist in reviewing relevant Financial reports to support key business decision andwhenever required.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulatory requirements, Financial and Audit procedures
  • Promote and demonstrate positive behaviours in harmony with DP Worlds values and culture
  • Ensure that the highest levels of safety are applied in all activities.
  • Understand and adhere to DP Worlds Code of Conduct and Ethics policies
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
JOB CONTEXT:To job holder will be required to follow specific timelines noted by Dubai World / DP World Head office. He/she should arrange meetings and discussions for different departments. He/she should also ensure project and commercial requirements are met. He/she will also be required to implement and compile with Environment , Health ,Safety and Security policies and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:In order to give credible support to the organisation and be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have the following:
  • Post graduate and / or Professional Qualification required like CA,CPA,CIMA, ACCA
  • Minimum of 5 years in a MNC / Government / semi government organization in the finance department with hands on experience of Oracle Financial software.
  • Use of computer applications and profound user of MS Excel, PowerPoint.
