The Senior Engineer - Civil is responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects. They ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to safety and quality standards. The role involves leading a team of engineers and technicians, coordinating with clients and contractors, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage civil engineering design and construction activities.Prepare, review, and approve technical drawings, specifications, and reports.Monitor project progress, costs, and quality to ensure adherence to plans and standards.Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.Conduct site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.Manage teams of junior engineers and technicians.Resolve technical problems and provide innovative solutions.Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.Prepare project documentation, progress reports, and budgets.Stay updated with latest civil engineering practices and technologies.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Masters preferred).Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent is preferred.Strong knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, Civil 3D, etc.Excellent project management and leadership skills.Good understanding of construction safety standards and regulations.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
