About the RoleWithin the Middle East CF&R segment, the Corporate advisory team offers solutions to corporates through the cycle, with a focus on robust business plans and liquidity forecasts in the context of: (i) new financing, (ii) financial restructuring and (iii) insolvency. This role will be a critical team member to help guide and execute client engagements. This role also carries business development responsibilities in addition to client work.What You?ll DoThis position will collaborate with various internal teams and help support and execute client engagements by:

  • Performing high quality client work and developing client relationships, including taking a proactive approach and anticipating client needs.
  • Developing and scaling FTI corporate side products, with a focus on medium term business planning and short term cash flow forecasting, including tools, methodologies, reports, models, work plans, checklists and processes.
  • Project Management, directing projects and providing an independent perspective with limited oversight.
  • Assisting with practice development and marketing, developing materials, surveys, events, and case studies.
  • Taking a management role in helping coach, train, and mentor junior staff.

This is an excellent opportunity for a person with proven, hands-on project delivery experience to work with our clients to help them plan, design, and execute robust/bankable business plans.Basic Qualifications
  • 8+ years experience in restructuring, with a focus on accelerated business planning/liquidity forecasting in the context of a refinancing, financial restructuring and/or insolvency.
  • Prior experience in a transaction modelling team within deals advisory is preferred
  • Ability to advise on the optimal forecasting structure and process based on the client?s organizational structure, level of maturity and overall objectives; and translate those to clear and actionable recommendations and insights.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Excel with a strong ability to develop and scale financial models.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools and/or data analytics is preferred.
  • Chartered Accountant (ACA or ACCA).
  • Ability to travel. This role requires travel to clients and FTI offices.
