Job Description

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESLead the development and execution of business growth strategies, including greenfield concessions, projects, acquisitions, partnerships, and divestituresConduct and coordinate with internal resources to conduct in depth research, analysis, and due diligence on the relevant asset, geography, market, competitive environment, regulatory environment, engineering & technical matters, operational requirements, and funding alternativesPrepare and review detailed/comprehensive three-statement financial models and valuation analyses to assess the viability and potential returns of proposed investmentsPrepare valuation analysis of potential opportunities by applying a variety of techniques including discounted cash flow, dividend discount model, comparable companies, and comparable transactionsAssist business units in reviewing and criticizing business plans and assumptions, and stress-testing them for variances in key operational and commercial assumptionsProvide guidance to the region on their projects and their process through the DP World approval process, including preparing project briefs and presentations to secure internal approvalsIdentify and analyze key risks identified in due diligence and potential mitigants including preparing risk matrixes which articulate key risks identified within each project or transaction and mitigating actions (e.g., value adjustment, contractual protections)Lead the negotiation and analysis of term sheets and transaction documentation covering, among others, tenders, concessions, financing, share purchase agreements and shareholders agreements.Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors to perform due diligence on strategic initiativesProvide ongoing monitoring and analysis of existing investments to ensure alignment with strategic goalsAct as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviors in harmony with DP World’s principles, values, and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policiesPrepare presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholdersMaintain an analytical database for market trends, competitor benchmarks, and project performance.Perform other related duties as assignedThe above outlined responsibilities are not exhaustive, and you may be required to carry out other tasks that are appropriate to your role in addition to theseQUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSDegree level education in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or a related field Post-graduate/professional qualification in Finance preferred (e.g., MBA, CFA and/or related qualification)7–10 years of progressive experience in business development, corporate finance, or related fields, with exposure to transaction management and strategic planningStrong financial modelling skills; Comprehensive understanding of business modeling, valuation, and analytical skillsExperience managing multiple projects in a dynamic, deadline-driven environmentExcellent communication and relationship management skillsAbility to synthesize data from multiple sources and present concise recommendationsProficient in business applications and data analysis toolsHold & maintain professional/academic qualifications or other appropriate expertiseStrong project management and strategic planning capabilitiesAbility to utilize multiple sources of information and integrate the data into concise and well reasoned outputAbility to respond to aggressive timelines without compromising the quality of output
