Job Description

We are looking for Senior Digital Developer based in UAE.The Senior Digital Developer reports to the to the Regional Controls & Assurance Director (RCAD). And designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programmingapplications and components. Worksfrom pre-established guidelines in an agile development environment that uses a test driven approach to perform the functions of the job and maintains documentation of process flow.The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:The role is focused on:

  • Analyze, design, develop, test, document and troubleshoot databases from high level detailed specifications.
  • Design, code and test new service oriented web software applications
  • Developing custom applications for the business and to take on responsibility of enhancing the in-house ICS system that has been developed.
  • Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement
  • Create and deliver data-driven reports
  • Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects
  • Investigate and develop skills in new technologies
  • Create technical specifications, test driven scripts and test plans
  • Create new and extend existing operational documentation
  • Develop, implement and support new software
Requirement:
  • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
  • 10+ years work experience as a .NET Developer. In-depth knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (like C++ and Visual Basic .NET)
  • Proficient in Power BI
  • Strong development experience with MS SQL (7+ year) ? Very good knowledge / experience of Microsoft BI stack (SQL, SSIS, SSRS, Power Platform)
  • Proficiency in building web-based applications ? In Depth knowledge in HTML, CSS JavaScript, XMAL, JSON etc.
  • Good experience in working with MS SSIS to design, develop and troubleshoot sata integration processes;
  • Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modelling;
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with Data Warehouse and Operational Datastore concepts, ETL strategies and best practices;
  • Strong analytical skills,
  • Good communication skills & familiar with agile environments
