Job Description

About this role:

• Delivery of quality 2D and 3D drawings for structural, piping and equipment design
• Create concept general arrangement (GA) drawings and calculate BOMs for estimation purposes for piping and structural scopes
• Issue detailed fabrication drawings including necessary welding details as per industry standards
• Issue Piping Isometric drawings and generate/modify P&IDs
• Integrate 3D models in Point Cloud Data and perform detailed clash check analysis
• Undertake site surveys, both onshore and offshore which are sufficiently detailed and concise information is taken for accurate drawing and reporting preparation
• Create detailed follow-up survey report analysis, concept drawings, and information necessary for quotation purposes
• Timely completion of all allocated projects
• Assist in updating databases, files of specifications, standards, and drawing tools
• Review rough sketches, drawings, and other data to ensure that they comply with design concepts
• Explain drawings to project team and provide adjustments as necessary.

• Drafting degree essential in Structural, Piping or Mechanical
• Knowledge of Offshore Structures and Ship Design
• Advanced knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD 2D and 3D
• Advanced knowledge of 3D Modeling software: Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks
• Offshore Oil and Gas experience is beneficial
• Ship Design and/or experience in Mobile Offshore Units is essential
• Good understanding of Engineering, Oil and Gas related technical requirements and common/best practices
• Technical knowledge of steel fabrication (piping and structural)
• Knowledge of High-Pressure piping (5,000psi, 10,000psi, 15,000psi WP) is beneficial
• Knowledge of Ballast Water Treatment Systems (BWTS) integrations is beneficial
• Knowledge of laser scanning and Point Cloud techniques is beneficial.
