The Senior Contracts Engineer is responsible for managing, negotiating, and administering contracts related to engineering projects. They ensure that contractual obligations are met, risks are minimized, and legal compliance is maintained throughout the project lifecycle. The role involves close coordination with project teams, clients, suppliers, and legal advisors.Key Responsibilities:Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.Ensure contractual documentation complies with company policies, legal standards, and project requirements.Monitor contract performance and ensure adherence to agreed terms.Manage contract changes, variations, and claims.Identify and mitigate contractual risks.Liaise with legal teams and external advisors on contractual issues.Maintain accurate records of contractual documents and correspondence.Support project teams in contract-related negotiations and decision-making.Conduct contractual audits and risk assessments.Provide training and guidance to junior contract staff.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.Proven experience in contracts management within engineering or construction projects.Strong knowledge of contractual law, legal documentation, and standards.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to analyze and resolve contractual issues efficiently.Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office Suite.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
