Must-have Skills & Knowledge:• Customs & Trade Systems: Proven experience with Customs Systems, Single Window implementations, Port Community / Cargo Community Systems and Trade Portals.• Business Process Modelling: Strong command of UML (use cases, activity diagrams) and BPMN (AS-IS / TO-BE process mapping).• Global Trade Standards: Practical knowledge of the WCO Data Model (mandatory), UN/EDIFACT, and familiarity with frameworks such as WCO SAFE, UN/CEFACT, Kyoto Convention, and WTO TFA.• Deliverables: Ability to produce BRDs/BRS, user stories with acceptance criteria, requirements traceability matrices, and support UAT activities.• Agile/Product Ownership: Experience serving as a Product Owner or Proxy PO in Agile teams.• GenAI Awareness for Customs/Trade: Practical awareness (not an AI specialist) of GenAI use cases such as risk-profiling automation, document digitization & validation, and data classification / anomaly detection.• Tools: Comfortable with Visio, Miro, Draw.io and issue/requirements tools like Jira or ADO.Preferred / Advantageous:• Certifications: CBAP / IIBA credential is a strong advantage.• Technical & Data Skills: Experience with data harmonization, document digitization, and working across government trade ecosystem stakeholders.• Soft Skills: Strong stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, and the ability to translate complex technical topics for business audiences.
