Job Description

Role : Senior Associate Officer, PaymentsLocation : Abu DhabiRole Purpose:

  • Invoice Payment Error Rate: <1% of invoice volumes
  • Expenses Booking Error Rate: <1% of invoice volumes
  • Invoice Approving TAT: < 2 working days
  • Query Response TAT: < 2 working days
Key Accountabilities of the role
  1. Payment Approving:
  • Approve Vendors payments / staff expenses /Petty cash /Journal Vouchers as per policy and procedures
  • Ensure payments / expenses are approved accurately and correctly to proper GLs and cost centers and correct GL coding
  • Approve payments accurately 99% accuracy levels
  • Ensure all payments processed are suitably approved
  • Analysis Monthly expenses
  • Monthly closing transaction Prepaid amortization and Accrual booking
  • Interacting with Budget and MIS to be sure all the expenses booked as plan
  • Minimize Risk processing
  • Solve system errors
  1. Reconciliation and Control
  • Reconciliation of GL accounts under ownership of FCD AP
  • Reconciliation activities for control purposes
  • Monitor and reconcile CWIP
  • Closely Monitoring Cash advance and liquidated
  • FCD Map Reconciliation
  1. Month end activities
  • End of month closing: post-closing entries (monthly & yearly) for prepaid & accrued general expenses and reconcile them with GL.
  • Approved all journal vouchers with proper tracking
  • Monitoring expenses according to the providing details by business
  1. Query Resolution
  • Respond to payment related queries within the agreed TAT
  1. Reporting :
  • Miscellaneous on demand reports and analysis
  1. Other duties assigned by the Line Manager .
Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:
  • Accounting Background
  • Excel knowledge
  • ERP (Oracle / SAP)
  • Bachelor Accounting ? Professional Certificate MBA-CA CMA will be advantage
