Senior AccountantJob Location : United Arab EmiratesKey Responsibilities :•Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS or relevant accounting standards.•Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.•Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.•Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.•Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.•Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.•Provide support and guidance to junior accounting staff.•Perform other accounting duties as assigned.Requirements :•Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required.•Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is highly preferred.•Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.•Strong understanding of IFRS or relevant accounting standards.•Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.•Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.•Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.•Strong attention to detail and accuracy.•Experience working in a multinational environment is a plus.
