Senior AccountantJob Location : UAEKey Responsibilities:•Oversee and manage the general ledger and month-end closing processes.•Prepare accurate financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.•Conduct financial analysis to provide insights into company performance and trends.•Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, corporate tax, and payroll taxes.•Review and reconcile account balances and bank statements.•Manage and mentor junior accounting staff to ensure efficiency and accuracy.•Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities.•Continuously update and improve accounting policies and procedures.Skills :•Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel (advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).•Solid understanding of IFRS or GAAP standards•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.•5-7 years of experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.•Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.•Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
