The award-winning hotel has multiple venues for inspiring events including the grand Godolphin Ballroom and 16 meeting rooms.Aboutthe Job:An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Executive -Corporate and MICEto join theSales department in Jumeirah Emirates Towers. The main purpose of this role is to meettargets for designated Jumeirah Emirates Towers Accounts and defined new Markets orsegments for own territory,execute Sales and plan of action related to own dedicated accounts, ensure all business development activities are fully aligned with Jumeirah?s Brand Standards. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Act as the single point of contact for each key accounts.
  • Proactive sales calls to generate corporate MICE leads and refer qualified leads to the Group Sales team.
  • Conduct site inspections, product & service trainings with existing and new potential accounts when needed.
  • Produce and implement an account development plan for selected corporate accounts to achieve maximum revenue in both short and long term.
  • Complete assigned Sales call on a daily/weekly basis (minimum 50 Ssales calls per month including at least 3 new accounts/prospects per week).
  • Assisting Associate Director of Sales in executing the annual commercial plan within area of responsibility.
  • With the support of ADOS - Qualify corporate accounts and negotiate corporate rates on yearly basis, process local corporate contracts when appropriate, drive room night production and monitor account performance.
  • Qualify and process corporate rate RFP?s where required.
  • Monitor and feedback competitor?s activities, report the same to ADOS and respond to them appropriately.
  • When required attend/schedule lunch/dinner entertainment key allocated accounts.
  • Maintain high profile network across designated area of coverage, actively prospects and hunt new business opportunities.
  • Continuously source new business through research of local media and market intelligence.
  • Be fully up to date with budgeted/actual/forecast targets as well as own segment and individual target.
  • Identify and communicate ideas and customer expectations from assigned segments and territory.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual budgeted room night/room revenue targets for industry and/or area.
  • Participate and contribute to weekly Revenue Strategy Meetings to identify occupancy gaps, generate action plans and strategies to drive the business.
  • When required attend networking events with assigned business council and or business/trade organisations in order to grow the company?s business network.
  • Build up good rapport and cooperation with the other hotel departments
  • Scheduled Sales calls to be made one week in advance and share this information in the weekly sales briefings.
  • Attend events at DWTC to deepen the knowledge of companies participating and future business opportunities.
  • Provide support and guidance to/within micro sales team.
  • Dress in a manner which is conductive to business environment whereby first impressions reflect on the hotel image.
  • Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management.
Administrative
  • Maintain an accurate profiles and history of all accounts within Jumeirah Connect.
  • Support administration duties in the absence of the Sales Coordinator
  • Proper quality of input in Jumeirah Connect and make sure to enter new contacts and accounts into the system as per the Jumeirah Data Entry Standards.
  • Meet a monthly Jumeirah Connect target of 50 activities to include the following sub types ?i.e. Sales Calls, Entertainment, Telemarketing, Site Inspections.?
  • Contribute to the month end report and submit to line manager by the end of 1st week of the month.
  • Pull out on quarterly basis the results of own assigned incentive targets and submit back to line manager.
Other Duties
  • Acts as an ambassador for Jumeirah through networking, profiling with customers and effective presentations.
  • To ensure personal appearance meets the company standard at all times which includes ensuring uniform (if supplied) / work attire are maintained and in good repair and achieve the highest possible standard in personal hygiene.
  • To achieve and maintain the highest possible levels of customer service to both external (i.e. paying customers) and internal customers (i.e. colleagues) at all times in accordance with company policy
  • To assist fellow colleagues both within and outside own department where possible (as requested / required) to ensure operational and customer service requirements are achieved at all times.
  • To report for duty on time and on the days rostered.
About you:In order to be considered for this role you will have at leasttwo years of working experience in a similar role in a luxury five-star hotel environment.You will have excellent written and spoken English skills, additional language is advantage. Knowledge of hotel operating systems is a must.
