Job Title: Safety OfficerQualifications & Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Safety, Engineering, or related fieldCertification in NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent (preferred not mandatory)Knowledge of HSE standards and regulationsGood communication and training skillsExperience: 2–5 years of relevant experience (preferred)Key Responsibilities:Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and site safety plansConduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and risksEnsure compliance with local safety laws, regulations, and company standardsConduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions for employees and contractorsMonitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practicesInvestigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses and prepare detailed reportsRecommend corrective and preventive actions to minimize safety risksMaintain safety documentation, permits, and records as per audit requirementsCoordinate with site management to ensure safe execution of work activitiesMonitor emergency preparedness, fire safety, and first-aid arrangements
