A Safety Officer collaborates with management to craft safety policies, conducts risk assessments, and investigates workplace incidents.Responsibilities:Risk Assessment and ManagementConduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.Identify potential hazards and implement mitigation strategies.Develop and update emergency response plans.Training and DrillsOrganize safety drills and training sessions.Educate employees on safety practices and regulations.Ensure all staff are aware of and comply with safety protocols.Incident Reporting and InvestigationDocument and report any incidents or accidents promptly.Lead investigations to determine the cause of incidents.Develop and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Compliance and AuditingEnsure adherence to local, state, and federal safety regulations.Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.Maintain records of safety incidents, audits, and training.Required Qualifications:A degree in occupational health, safety management, or a related field.More than 4 years of experience in Facilities ManagementGood communication skillsCertifications: Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), NEBOSH.
