Scope:Responsible for developing and implementing Health & Safety Management system at Transguard worksites, and ensuring its compliance with International Safety Standards (ISO 45001 & 14001).This position will develop guidelines in coordination with HSE Manager for the HSE management of operations and standards.The QHSE Officer will be a provider of information, giving technical guidance on all Health, Safety, Wellbeing and Environmental matters, identifying and advising on current and future requirements and ensuring that systems, policies and processes are in place to prevent incidents and support the continuing development of a HSE culture across the organization.Skills:Selection criteria4-5 years of experience in a similar fieldBachelor’s degree in science, HSE or equivalent from a recognized universityAirport experiencee would be a plusAny Recognized qualification in HSE such as NEBOSH IGC or NVQ etcLead/internal Auditor qualification in HSE management system (ISO 45001 / 14001)Basic First Aid and Firefighting TrainingAny internationally accredited environment certificate will be preferableGood knowledge in implementing HSE standards, including policies/procedures, ISO standard such as ISO 45001, 14001 etc.Working knowledge of project execution and technical knowledge of safety systems such as firefighting systemsKnowledge of the UAE HSE legislation, code of practice & municipality guidelines, OSHAD, or other emirates HSE regulationsHolding a valid UAE driving licenseExcellent knowledge of MS OfficeGood in report writingStrong decision-making skillsTeamwork/collaborative approachCritical thinking, adaptability and analytical approachEmpower people in HSE through role modelingYou will be redirected to the company website to apply for this position
