You will possess strong Omni-commerce industry experience and understand the challenges of legacy retail.Responsibilities

• Acting in an Architecture Leadership role across core Retail client projects
• Lead the implementation of Architecture solutions from establishing project requirements and goals to solution go-live
• Provide Technology Consulting and Architecture services across Retail client projects
• Provide Technical Governance across multiple projects and clients
• Provide leadership across Architecture, Technology, Strategy, IT Organizational Change Management
• Proactively develop and implement efficiency improvements
• Build credibility with clients either new or existing
• Participate in pre-sale activities as your role grows

• Strong working experience within Omni-commerce Retail environments (including omni-channel payment flows)
• Strong experience with one of the big e-Commerce platforms
• Industry visionary, avid technologist at heart and proven Technology/Architecture leadership experience
• Experience acting as a hands-on Senior/Lead Solution Architect in large-scale delivery environments
• Excellent client-facing / onsite experience with the ability to influence and guide senior stakeholders on technical solutions
• Strong experience in leading and delivering technology streams for large scale complex transformation projects
• Excellent commercial awareness and business acumen and budget management
• Strong experience of technology support for complex transformations using enterprise Agile delivery methods and frameworks
• In store working including:
  • Stock receipting processes
  • Stock taking processes
  • End of day reporting Z receipts
  • In store assisted selling
  • Clienteling
  • POS systems
  • Enterprise OMS systems (understanding of concepts like round robin and routing)
  • Typical instore infrastructure set up and interconnectivity MPLS, client Wi-Fi
  • Footfall counters
  • ERP integrations
  • Warehouse processes including picking and packing methods and the nuances of store, distributor, customer dispatch
  • Cross channel Pricing and Promotions
  • Single Customer Views
  • Understanding of cloud and headless architecture
  • Integrating headless CMS in a retail environment
  • Integrating Giftcard providers and the processes behind
  • Understanding of the basics of Over the Counter (OTC) processes
