1. Research on the project under the direction of the Supervisor and Senior Research Associate. 2. Participate in the development of a framework, methods, and tools to support software process improvement and knowledge management activities. 3. Design evaluative instruments, collect and analyze project data. 4. Draft scientific reports on the project. 5. Coordinate research activities. 6. Participate in the definition of research directions. 7. Conduct literature reviews. 8. Collect and analyze data, and work with different kind of Data including Geospatial data, Genome and other. 9. Prepare materials for submission to granting agencies and foundations. 10. Work with and/or supervise other researchs group members (students, RAs) 11. Researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs. 12. Testing and evaluating new programs. 13. Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications. 14. Writing and implementing efficient code. 15. Training users. 16. Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business. 17. Work with developers to design algorithms and flowcharts. 18. Integrate software components and third-party programs. 19. Verify and deploy programs and systems. 20. Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software. 21. Recommend and execute improvements. 22. Create technical documentation for reference and reporting. 23. Website design and development. 24. Mobile application (Android and Ios). 25. Developing smart solutions. 26. Provide training courses. 27. Creativity is always a plus. Minimum Qualification . Ms or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field . 5+ years experience in the field. . Experience developing software utilizing various coding languages including Python Java, C++, PHP and more. Preferred Qualification Professional program certification in Data Science or Big data and Hadoop is strongly preferred and working with different kind of data including geospatial data, bioinformatics, etc..
