Job Description

Khawarizmi International College (KIC) invites applications for the position of ?Receptionist? at Abu Dhabi Campus. The position reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications and joining date will be on 26th September 2022.The receptionist will be the first contact person for the visitors and students visiting the KIC Campus, and is responsible to represent college by providing excellent customer service and communication.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Welcome visitors by greeting and directing them to the required department.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and forward them appropriately while providing basic information as required.
  • Answer inquiries and redirect to the concerned department/person in case of detailed and specific queries.
  • Maintain and constantly update the employee and department directories.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of information and security by following security norms.
  • Maintain logbook and issue visitor badges.
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings and conferences.
  • Perform other related task as directed by the line manager.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
  • Competent in word processing, spreadsheet and typing skills.
  • Proficient in handling calls and visitors.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Effective customer service.
  • Efficient in providing administrative support.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum Diploma. Bachelor is preferable.
REQUIRED:
  • UAE Nationals Only.
  • 1-2 years of experience in handling front office as a receptionist is preferable.
