Key Responsibilities:Prepare detailed cost estimates and budget reports for construction projectsManage and monitor project costs, ensuring the project stays within budgetConduct cost analysis and provide recommendations for cost-effective solutionsPrepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantitiesNegotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliersMeasure and assess work completed, ensuring accurate payments and valuationsAssess risks and implement strategies to minimize costsCollaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project objectives are metReview and approve invoices from contractors and suppliersEnsure all work complies with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standardsRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the UAEStrong knowledge of construction costs, estimating, and procurementFamiliarity with relevant software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, QS software)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentKnowledge of UAE construction codes and regulations is a plus
