Quantity SurveyorJob Location : UAEKey Responsibilities:•Project Planning and Coordination: Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.•Cost Management: Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to identify areas for improvement and negotiate the best deals.•Communication and Stakeholder Management: Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure effective collaboration and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.•Reporting and Documentation: Preparing detailed reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessments, and other documents to track progress and facilitate informed decision-making.•Strategic Advice: Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies to enhance project outcomes and drive business growth.•Supply Chain Management: Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required to maintain efficient inventory levels and minimize delays.•Design and Budget Updates: Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets to reflect scope adjustments and prevent cost overruns.•Stakeholder Engagement: Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders to foster trust and cooperation.•Travel Requirements: Traveling from the office to various sites as required to oversee project execution and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.Requirements and Qualifications:•A Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as construction management, engineering, or architecture.•Proven experience in construction project management, preferably with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience.•Strong knowledge of construction laws, regulations, and industry standards.•Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.•Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
