The Quantity Surveyor / Estimator Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial assessments for construction, engineering, or manufacturing projects. They oversee the cost planning, procurement, and financial management to ensure projects are completed within budget and scope.Key Responsibilities:Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for projects based on drawings, specifications, and scope of work.Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis to support project planning.Assist in bid preparations and tender submissions.Monitor and control project costs throughout the project lifecycle.Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers, contractors, and vendors.Conduct site visits to assess progress and verify quantities.Manage changes in scope and update cost estimates accordingly.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure financial targets are met.Prepare reports on project costs, trends, and financial forecasts.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field.Proven experience in estimation, cost control, and project budgeting.Strong understanding of construction or manufacturing processes.Proficiency in estimating software and MS Excel.Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
