QA QC Engineer

Job Description

? Implementing follow up phase as per Agnice Quality Plan, Project Specification & Contract. ? Communicating and dealing with engineers on-site related to inspections & if any QC issues to be resolved at site swiftly.? Interface with subcontractors regarding to QC issues. ? Document and update follow up forms and any associated paperwork. ? Ensure that the works are in compliance with specifications and drawings. ? Perform all other duties assigned by the Sr.QA/QC Engineer. ? Review materials delivered to site for conformance with approved samples, materials, and equipment. ? Check those materials delivered to site are properly stored and report if any discrepancies to the PM & Sr.QA/QC Engineer. ? Inspect completed works & arrange for an inspection with the consultant to get WIR approvals. Prepare and follow up punch lists. ? Participate in testing, commissioning and technical handover of the works. ? Prepare & update daily material, work inspection logs and reports. ? Perform all works in accordance with the Contract Documents & Project Specification. ? Record and report the quality training systems of labour are being conducted together with safety and toolbox talks.? Check the works in their area of responsibility for compliance with the specifications.? Respond to Request for Inspection / Approval in a timely manner.? Ensure there are no ambiguities in the agreed standards to be achieved, i.e. workmanship, benchmarks, material samples etc.? Maintain good working relations.? Seek technical assistance when ambiguities arise if needed.? Report non-conformance to the responsible person immediately.? Regular reporting if any quality issues to line manager and others as instructed in a timely manner in order to avoid any external NCR?s.? Provide an inspection service to ensure that workmanship and materials are as specified by the Client.? Resolve quality issues in a pragmatic manner at the earliest opportunity to the maximum benefit of the business.? Provide primary assistance to departments with the preparation of quality system procedures for ISO certification.? Ensure the closing of all Non-Conformance Report (NCR) and Observations raised by external auditors, consultant & contractor within the stipulated time.? Adopt changes in quality procedures with recommendations from Division Heads.? Assist the QA/QC Manager in the execution of ISO internal quality audit.? Conduct root cause analysis for serious issues and chronic problematic areas.? Prepare method of statements for projects based on their required specifications.? Make suggestions for improving processes and system to the QA QC Manager.? Prepare customer satisfaction survey data report annually for Management Analysis.? Preparation of O& M manuals if needed during project technical closure.? Inspect the site & ensure the red line drawings provided by the site team are correct before handing over the as-built drawings to the consultant for final approval.? Plan & arrange all technical closeout documents handover to contractor, consultant & client.? Organize quality training based on requirements from project sites.
