Description:An emerging Developer cum Contractor in Dubai urgently requires a Purchase Assistant with relevant experience in Construction & Building materials. Duties and Responsibilities. The Candidate must have good knowledge of building construction materials & hardware . The Candidate must have good knowledge of Civil / Electrical / Mechanical / Plumbing / Fire Fighting & Fire Alarm and interior Fit out materials of 2-3Good understanding of supply chain procedures.Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs from concerned departments.Research potential vendors.Preparation of Purchase Oders and Sub- contract agreements. Track orders and ensure timely delivery.Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)Conduct market research to identify pricing trends.Evaluate offers from vendors, prepare price comparisons and negotiate better prices.Prepare cost analyses.Maintain updated records of LPOs and contracts.Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders.Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition.Candidates must have Good Knowledge in MS Office with good typing skills. Must have good communication & negotiation skills.
