UAE National| Project Engineer/Energy Management | AFET | Dubai, UAEOverview of the roleThe job holder will be responsible to learn and develop technical skills that will support energy management operations success, and in setting Company objectives policy, strategy, and KPI?s related to Energy and sustainability Management that will mature to provide expert services related to the design, construction, commissioning, and operations of the new and existing projects. Develop, maintain, and ensure that correct and consistent design practices and specifications are applied in the different projects at the different stages in line with company?s objectivesWhat you will doBusiness Incubation Management

• Conduct ASHRAE Level-1 ,2 and 3 and ISO 50001 audits on Facilities and prepare conditional survey.
• Intimacy monitoring utility consumption, trend analysis of Facilities to develop baseline measurements and prepare Investment grade audit reports accordingly.
• Conduct of Site Audits and preparation of Investment Grade Audit reports.
• Preparation of SOW?s for tendering retrofit packages and finalisation of vendors
• Implementation of Energy conservation measures set out in the investment grade audit.
• Preparation of Monthly M&V reports for Ongoing Projects
• Conceptualizing, designing, estimating, and executing energy conservation measures in energy projects
• Economic Analysis ? Payback, ROI, IRR, NPV, cashflow of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects
• Recommending energy efficient equipment selection, proposing energy efficiency strategies in new construction, modifications etc.
• Preparing Scope of Works, sequence of operation and/or control methodology for tendering out Retrofit packages
• Preparation of monthly M&V reports for Facilities under contract
• Develop and maintain specification documents for new initiatives conforming to standards and procedures
• Participating in steering committee meetings for group energy efficiency transformation goals
• Develop and Manage tailored Machine Learning and AI based solutions for energy optimization with Data Scientists
• Design and Implementation of Solar PV systems (On-Grid, Off-Grid and Hybrid)
• Carrying out Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Proposing sustainability initiatives
• Liaising with clients for progress meetings and audit results
• Conduct energy audits for Facilities and develop energy conservation measures, implement, and prepare measurement and verification reports for the same to ensure committed savings are achieved
• Preparing documents to put out tenders for contractors. Liaising with relevant government agencies as required
• Carry out gap and risk assessment analysis to and put action plans to mitigate

• Ensure all contracted work is carried out in accordance with the contract
• Timelines are adhered to and identify any issues which may affect the performance and closure of the works

• Daily management of sub-contractors, consumables
• Responsible for implementation and monitoring of sub-contractor performance. Ensure best value management techniques within contracts

• Implements expected service standards towards the service providers and sub contractors
• Ensure all work is carried out with the correct H&S standards throughout projects
• Contributing to value engineering in projects, HSSE compliance

• Prepare routine and ad hoc reports, with the objective of keeping the management informed about all issues relating to operations
