Job descriptionCharterhouse is looking for a Project Engineer for a leading Dubai-based contractor who offers complete turn-key engineering and facilities management solutions, including design, testing, installation, and fire safety works. Undertaking projects across the entire UAE, our client is actively looking for a skilled professional due to their continued growth and pipeline of projects. Our clients ethos is to offer its successful employees long-term career development and a clear pathway for internal promotion.About the roleThis Junior-Mid level role, will be responsible for scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and managing technical activities (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) to ensure accuracy and quality of designated projects. In conjunction with this role, you will be responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines of ongoing projects.You will establish inspection criteria for properly implementing all the elements of a project. Furthermore, you will be required to communicate with the Project Manager and other disciplinarys, whilst collaborating with senior engineers to create more efficient project methods to maintain the projects profitability.The Project Engineer will ensure the projects compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications, performing quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans, and personnel performance, and reporting on the projects status.About youThe client will look to recruit a Project Engineer with 3 or more years of experience, within a GCC-based Contractor or Consultant. The successful candidate should have a track record of handling an array of projects, including but not limited to the following sectors Offices, Luxury residential, Retail Hospitality. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and be fluent in English.The successful candidate will hold a bachelors Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, from a recognised international university. Candidates holding a professional membership or Masters Degree will be considered as a priority.
