Responsibilities will include the following:* Own and lead the project from start to finish (pre, live & post event) * Onboard, manage and liaise with all stakeholders involved, including creative, programming, production, operations team, along with other external stakeholders * Key point of contact for the partners and managing the chain of communication for internal and external stakeholders. * Attend partner meetings to present project updates * Create and share status reports with management on regular basis * Recruit, train and manage the extended team for the project (pre-event & delivery phase) * Create and update the project plan and timelines and ensuring all the parties involved adhere to the set plan and timelines * Create and set right processes in place for smooth operations of the project and ensuring all parties adhere to these processes. * Responsible for having all the assets securely saved in an organized manner * Ensuring the project objectives are met * Responsible for making sure the project KPIs are met * Responsible for managing and creating guest experiences and journey to ensure the project is delivered to the highest standards * Managing sponsorship and marketing team to make sure all strategies, communications and deliverables are being met as per the timeline * Working closely with the commercial team to identify the revenue streams for the project including ticketing strategy .etc. * Knowledge in and managing travel, stay, ticketing/customs of the delegates traveling. * Managing and updating the project budget * Reviewing and monitoring the production and operations plans to ensure smooth, timely and highest standard of delivery * Leading and managing the event team on site and being the main point of contact for client and other stakeholders * Responsible for submitting and presenting post event reports and event closureRequirementsKey Attributes:* Professional, independent, and self-motivated individual, with a strong sense of urgency and ability to drive a project to completion * Have a strong technical background for better understanding of the project * Knowledge and experience of hosting an exhibition, with international delegates and exhibitors. * Minimum 10+ years event management experience and knowledge in delivering festivals in the UAE * Experienced and skilled in organizing complex events * High level of interpersonal communication including the ability to consult with senior executives, external bodies, negotiate agreed directions, outcomes and targets within a collaborative environment * Good presentation skills to be able to present to senior executives and other government entities * Demonstrated success in strategic project direction including planning, resource allocation, communication, implementation, negotiation, evaluation and reporting * Excellent oral and written communication skills must be able to communicate clearly both within the organization and externally to drive projects forward * Demonstrates leadership skills * Able to multitask and work under pressure * Process & solution driven * Able to manage large teams * Commercial and marketing know-how *
