Job descriptionCharterhouse is working with a renewable energy manufacturer who are developing and commercializing state-of-the-art carbon neutral generators for industrial and domestic use. This pioneering business is using the latest innovative technology and deploying environmental initiatives which will contribute to the global climate crisis.Our client is in search of a Production Manager to lead its team of Spanish speaking engineers.About the roleThis role will supervise and lead the production and manufacturing processes for its magnetic inertia pulse generators, designing and executing a production plan to scale the manufacturing arm of the business.In conjunction, this senior position will be responsible in creating the assembly line, diagnosing problems, training staff and developing plans that improve production, costs and labour.You will establish safety procedures and protocols that take into account the teams well-being, as well as reducing carbon footprint.This role will require the incumbent to draw up production schedules and budgets whilst analysing all facets of the production process, making recommendations for improvement.About youThe client will look to recruit an experienced Production Manager, whom is able to demonstrate a sustained track record in a management or supervision role. The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of the production process for magnetic or pulse generators.The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge in creating assembly lines for large scale manufacturing operations within the renewable energy industry. Strong communication skills in Spanish are highly desirable. The selected candidate will hold a relevant Engineering Degree from an internationally recognised University.Candidates holding a Masters Degree or Chartered status will also be considered as a priority.
