• Supporting engineering and technical deliverables of an assigned proposal or project, including all technical contents discussed/transmitted with/to Client and Vendors
• Leading engineering teams that will be formed by engineers in different locations, and covering different disciplines, either internal resources or 3rd parties.

Activities:

• Sale/Tender phase:
  • Understand client?s technical requirements during a proposal phase and lead the engineering team in developing the required engineering documentation to cost the project
  • Attend bid clarification meetings
  • Supervise the developing of Technical Requisitions (TRs) and Technical Bid Analysis (TBAs) for costing estimation with suppliers
• Execution phase:
  • Ensure the project is executed as-sold, following SLB standards and Client specifications
  • Project and Project Engineering to be delivered within Budget and Schedule
  • Understand and communicate the as-sold Engineered Scope to the project team
  • Attend kick off meetings and design review meetings with Client, avoiding scope creep
  • Generate and develop the project engineering scope of work, execution plan and baseline schedule
  • Lead engineering teams that will be formed by engineers in different locations, and covering different disciplines
  • Control and coordinate work share activities within the proposal or project
  • Check and approve the engineering documents and work of others as required
  • Review, approve and control man-hour bookings on a project
  • Create the Technical Requisition (TRs) and scope of work to subcontracted 3rd parties engineering activities and special technical or safety studies, as well as approve the TRs and TBAs for Equipment, Free Issued Items and bulk material for the Project.
  • Provide all necessary inputs/approvals related to Project Technical or commercial MOC
  • Manage the Project Doc Control and Engineering Doc Progress, in coordination with the Centralized Doc Control Mgr.
• Mentor other junior project engineers and provide training to others as required

Qualifications:

• 15+ years Industry experience
• Prior work experience in Production Facility Engineering
• Ability to lead a multicultural and multidiscipline engineering team, remotely located, and to identify priorities during engineering execution
• Capability to manage technical discussions with customers and represent SLB in technical presentation to customers
• Possess a high degree of initiative
• Familiar with Industry Standards and codes such as ASME, API, NFPA, NEC, etc.
• Experience in having participated of HAZOP and other safety studies
• Proven experience with trouble shooting of oil and gas treatment plants
