Rainmaking Ventures creates, accelerates, and scales new businesses with world leading corporations and entrepreneurs. Our model allows us to combine the corporates? scaling strengths and deep domain knowledge, with the startups? entrepreneurial execution.We are building a new ecosystem platform venture in UAE and we are now looking for Product Manager who will work with our venture team and our industry partner to lead and scale this venture. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of growing teams in the startup industry.Vision & Strategy - Set the vision and the overall strategy from launch to scale; including defining long-term goals and go to market strategies- Drive growth, profitability and business value- Manage burn rate while growing the business- Serve as external spokesperson and public champion for the businessStakeholders - Build strategic partnerships & relationships to drive growth- Regularly report updates to Board of Directors and corporate stakeholders regarding progress on strategic prioritiesYour Mission - Set the overall long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for our products- Own all areas of product lifecycle, including discovery, UI/UX, experiments, go-live, data analysis- Translate product strategy that is based on data and metrics into detailed requirements and prototypes- Gain deep understanding of our customers and generate new ideas that drive growth, improve user experience, and fill product gaps- Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact- Develop product pricing and positioning strategies- Incorporate data analysis and feedback through testing and validation of concepts- Write detailed user stories, identify edge cases, and partner closely with the engineering team to roll out features in an agile, continuous deployment environment- Manage UI/UX testing and optimization-Be an expert with respect to competition, build awareness and understanding as an evangelist Required Skills - Minimum 4 years in product management, with 2-3 years leading the development of web platforms- Experience at high growth early-stage startups preferred- Analytical mindset, with ability to prioritize product strategy based on data, metrics, feedback, and KPI?s- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle- Deep empathetic understanding of user experience and user research- Basic understanding of technical architecture of complex and highly scalable platforms- Knowledge of agile development and designing process flows- Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one?s sleeves to get the job done- Excellent written and verbal communication- Motivation to join a startup and love for building a business from scratch, with ability to see how a product and strategy can evolve About you - Passionate about startups, technology and innovation- Enthusiastic team player that loves working with different types of people in cross-functional teams and who is willing to help people around you to become even better- Radically open minded and someone who seeks to understand the world together with others What we offer - Opportunity to work with some of the most experienced venture builders, strategists, engineers, designers and growth experts around- Attractive combination of salary + equity package- High degree of responsibility and freedom We welcome applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds and look forward to building an amazing company together in the future.
