Job Description

The assets business in the Middle East is profitable and growing with a significant focus on installment loan products as part of the Credit Cards offering. This role will work with the Personal Lending Product head on the development and growth of the Lending products in UAE, developing strategies for acquisitions, deployment channels and partnerships and enhancing customer retention and digital transformation efforts. The role requires a strong team player who thrives in a demanding and fast-paced environment. The role provides exciting opportunities for any candidate to build a career in Citi UAE.Responsibilities:

  • Drive acquisition, market share and optimize products? sales and profitability
  • Optimize revenues and manage expenses: develop and implement strategies to meet product financial plan
  • Enhance the Lending Value proposition through analysis and segmentation of existing portfolio to understand customers? needs and behaviors and update the product program/ sales strategies accordingly
  • Work with sales teams to increase productivity, optimize VCP to achieve the business objectives
  • Enhance Acquisitions / Existing customer management campaigns based on new digital/ campaign capabilities
  • Work with Product Head on financial planning and portfolio performance tracking
  • Work closely with multiple internal/external stakeholders like Sales and Distributions, Risk Management, Marketing, Digital Banking, Legal, Compliance etc.to drive business growth initiatives
  • Analyze and update Pricing and fee related actions to ensure competitive market advantage while driving revenue growth
  • Partner with sales and digital teams to help increase application / lead conversion by improving on-boarding processes across face-to-face and digital channels
  • Work with Country Marketing team to provide direction in devising, producing, and monitoring of advertising which will communicate the product value proposition
  • Implement process re-engineering, and improvement of systems and process gaps to expedite delivery of product to customers.
  • Ensure product?s day-to-day operations and new initiatives are compliant with regulations and Citi?s internal policies through regular business control reviews such as MCAs and IA reviews
  • Work with internal stakeholders to build digital capabilities of straight through processing of applications.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years? experience in finance industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Project management skills
  • Understanding of product management principles
  • Strong planning and partner/relationship building
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership and decision-making qualities
  • Ability to influence others and work with peers across the organization
  • Knowledge of Citi systems and processes is an advantage
Education:
  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
