We are looking for a Product Development Officer for one of our clientsResponsibilities:Leadership-1. Implement and control the product & packaging development activities.2. Communicates with the sales team regarding the projects requiring innovation.3. Manages the lab & pilot plan trials & oversees the production trial.4. Defines the product formulation with RM & PM specifications based on the lab &pilot plan trials & risk analysis.Business Excellence (Performance)-1. Liaise with the sales team & Communicates with the sales team regarding the projects requiring innovation.2. Conducts market sample analysis inorder to benchmark the market leaders in various technologies.3. Design Product & Packaging development documentation.People Development-1. Provide technical know how about the products & packaging developed considered the safety, Quality & legality aspect.2. Train the relevant team for successful completion of the trial formulation.Planning & Execution-1. Improvement for the total product & packaging knowledge of customers including cost engineering.2. Responsible for ensuring that NPD and EPD activities related to all technologies are approved according to specifications agreed with the clients/customers. This includes new RM, PM and process qualifications.3. Manages stocks of RM?s, PM?s, market samples, Lab Chemicals and Reagents for analyses used for product & packaging development.Level of Education(s)Chemical Engineer/Chemistry
