The successful candidate will be assigned to manage an annual spend in excess of AED 40 million in line with the guidelines in the AFG Procurement policy, co-ordinate with the UAE based and International Business Units, with their Business Finance & with Corporate Shared Services, manage assigned vendor relationships for Marketing retainer agencies.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Executes category sourcing strategies including development and execution of RFI?s and RFP?s, documents bid events through correspondence to suppliers; develops selection criteria and drives the selection and approval process of suppliers in collaboration with cross-functional teams; conducts supplier negotiations and ongoing supplier management. Develops negotiation strategies, gains alignment from stakeholders, leads cross-functional, category-based negotiation teams, while implementing appropriate supplier risk analysis.
• Interacts with relevant stakeholders to develop, engages and leads supplier relationships for extracting the greatest value in supplier quality, total cost effectiveness, enhanced service levels, risk management, sustainability, and innovation. Manages the ongoing performance of Marketing suppliers including performance against the SLAs and suppliers? evaluations, audits and qualification.
• Manages contracts, contract negotiation, pre-negotiate and incorporate terms, conditions, key performance indicators, and service level metrics into vendor contracts.
• Ensures business process efficiency, and process improvement in line with Procurement strategy to empower the business as strategic partners.
• Creates and maintains good relationships with the vendors.
• Maintains and updates a list of Vendors and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development
• Establishes effective internal customer relationship management by maintaining timely & professional communication with the team & business peer.
• Works with team members and procurement manager to complete duties as needed.
• Timely generation/ updating of management report(s)

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLSEducation Qualification:

• Full time Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent
• Any Procurement or Finance Certification is an added value

Minimum Experience and Knowledge:

• Minimum 5 years? experience in Marketing and Advertising agency.
• Previous hands on experience in dealing with vendors (quotations, payments, reconciliations)

• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Problem solving experience in reducing total costs, improving processes, and reducing supplier risk
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite (especially Excel), P2P systems.

Language Skills:

• Strong verbal and written English communication
• Arabic Speaker
