Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to oversee the procurement of goods and services, ensure cost-effective purchasing, and maintain strong supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will facilitate timely procurement processes in compliance with company policies and industry standards.Key Responsibilities:Identify procurement needs and develop purchase plans.Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate prices, terms, and contracts.Issue purchase orders and manage the procurement cycle from requisition to delivery.Monitor supplier performance and maintain good supplier relationships.Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and procurement data.Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement requirements.Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and prices.Manage procurement budgets and ensure cost savings.Resolve any issues related to procurement and supplier performance.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.Proven experience in procurement or purchasing.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems.Familiarity with procurement laws, policies, and best practices.Analytical mindset with attention to detail.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
