The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction materials, vendor management, and procurement regulations within the UAE.Responsibilities:Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and facility services as per project requirements.Evaluate supplier quotations for cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.Negotiate contracts, pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.Monitor inventory levels and place orders to prevent shortages or overstocking.Conduct market research to stay updated on material trends and price fluctuations.Maintain accurate purchase records, contracts, and documentationCoordinate with project managers and facilities teams to align procurement schedules with operational timelines.Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE procurement regulations.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement, specifically within the construction sectors.Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and local supplier markets.Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.Preferred Skills:Familiarity with sustainable procurement practices.Experience working with UAE-based suppliers.Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
