Job Description

Aventus is currently recruiting for a procurement role in Dubai on behalf of an exciting social media platform that is expanding massively in the METAP region.Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a category management approach to procurement which will migrate the department from transaction based too long-term strategic partnership-based procurement.
  • Develop, lead, and deliver category and sub-category strategies and procurement projects within the overall category, to ensure that savings and efficiencies are achieved.
  • Develop and deploy expertise within a particular area of spend (marketing category) as required to achieve optimum value for money solutions and provide support to departments as required to ensure the best interests of the organization are protected and promoted
Requirements:
  • 5+ years demonstrable experience of leading practice techniques to include practical knowledge and evidenced application of category management, strategic sourcing, management of complex tenders and contract and supplier management
  • Excellent leadership skills supported by strong planning and delivery techniques
  • An effective communicator, using a broad range of techniques to motivate, stimulate and influence teams and individuals at all levels of the organization
