Job Description

We are looking for a Procurement Engineer to join our Dubai team and help manage our organization?s procurement needs. Procurement Engineer responsibilities include researching new suppliers, ensuring that all purchased products and materials meet our specifications, and negotiating with vendors as needed. Ultimately, you will work with leaders in our organization to understand the needs of our organization and ensure we achieve our supply goals in a timely manner.Responsibilities

  • Identification of scope / all requirements in requisition for purchase.
  • Develop procurement schedule / plans for the purchase of Materials & equipment
  • Conduct industry research to identify potential suppliers
  • Negotiate contracts / agreements for purchasing of materials and best deal for pricing and supply contracts.
  • Following and enforcing the companys procurement policies and procedures.
  • Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
  • Handles procurement and logistics operations
  • Projects estimation, and preparation of technical submittals based on Consultant?s approved vendors
  • Monitoring Cost Control, ensure all Purchase Orders are properly assigned
  • Forecast and consumption review on monthly basis for inventory mitigation & covering material for smooth supply
  • Keep updated with market developments and assist in Vendor Development.
  • Prepare purchase proposals, request quotes, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns
  • Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings
  • Analyze industry and demand trends and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies
