Description:Lazourdy Contracting is currently seeking a Procurement Engineer (Civil) to become part of their growing construction team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will handle all procurement activities related to civil construction projects — from sourcing and negotiating to purchasing materials and ensuring timely deliveries that align with project specifications and budgets.Key Responsibilities:• Analyze project requirements and prepare detailed material requisitions.• Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers and subcontractors.• Request quotations, negotiate pricing, and issue purchase orders in line with company policies.• Work closely with site engineers and project teams to ensure smooth and timely material supply.• Maintain up-to-date records of suppliers, pricing data, and procurement documentation.• Ensure compliance with company standards and quality specifications throughout the procurement process.Key Requirements:• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.• Minimum of 1 year of procurement experience in the UAE construction sector.• Strong knowledge of civil construction materials and local supplier networks.• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement management software tools.
