If you love food, and are looking to work at a Company that is mission-driven and is helping build the future for F&B, wed love to work with you!The RoleThe principal DevOps Engineer will take the responsibility of executing DevOps Strategy and in practical terms include writing code for infra automation, automating build, test, deployment ofcode and various environments (Infrastructure as a Code) all the way through toProduction. He is expected to own end to end DevOps solutions supporting highly available, secure and reliable services.Primary Role & Responsibilities

• Own the complete infrastructure comprising of containers, lambdas and various serverless as well as stateful components hosted on AWS
• Own all operational aspects of the various data management systems, including automation, monitoring, alerting, reliability and performance
• Support enterprise strategy towards end-to-end automation through setting up, driving and tracking tailored transformation initiatives from the architecture perspective in close collaboration with the project / product developers team.
• Proactively identify sources of instability in the system and analyse how complex systems fail from a reliability and resilience perspective
• Improve availability, reliability, and observability of our services and reduce the burden of human toil with tooling and automation
• Build automation tools wherever required to avoid repetitive manual efforts
• Architecture governance to set up the CICD pipeline.
• Maintain and help us to evolve our cloud-based Infrastructure
• Deployment, management and administration of containerised application and serverless frameworks deployed in a public cloud environment (AWS/GCP)
• Incident management & driving operational excellence to prevent the big one
• Operationalize learnings by collaborating with multiple engineering teams
• Engage with product teams to diagnose and correct operational surprises
• Have a direct impact on Momos business by identifying innovative solutions to operational challenges

Ideal Background

• At least 10+ years experience practising software development and DevOps methodology
• Should have experience in AWS, ECS, Terraform, git, ELK, Code pipeline, config management, Secops, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux OS/application installation and configuration
• Good experience supporting the following stack: Typescript, Postgres, React, Next.js, Cypress
• Strong scripting skills, preferably in Python, and/or Bash
• Automate build and deployment of multiple environments with highest quality, securityrequirements
• Experience in building, deploying and operating infrastructure and applications
• Familiarity with distributed and scalable logging, metrics, and alerting solutions
• Should be an expert with git and associated workflows ? must
• CI/CD tools: GitLab, Github Actions, AWS Code pipelines, jenkin ? any one
• Ability to oversee and mentor junior software developers, as well as report to management
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, technologies, and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, IPSec, HTTP, FTP, DHCP, and DNS)
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills

• Strong expertise in Serverless architecture
• Must be skilled in logical thinking and troubleshooting skills
• Development experience with JavaScript/Node.js, Python
• Persistent/tenacious problem-solver adept at critical thinking
• Effectively prioritise multiple tasks based on short and long term goals.
• Fast learner/adaptable/desire to learn and improve.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
