The Electrical and Communication Engineering Department at the United Arab Emirates University is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral research fellow to join our team focused on developing novel integrated sensing and communication systems for next-generation 6G networks. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with other researchers to develop novel beam pattern techniques and positioning algorithms for cutting-edge technologies and applications such as smart factories, autonomous vehicles, smart cities, and immersive communication. Responsibilities: . Design and develop integrated sensing and communication systems for 6G networks using state-of-the-art techniques and tools. . Conduct experiments to validate the performance and functionality of the developed systems in realistic scenarios. . Publish research findings in high-impact journals and conferences. . Collaborate with other team members and industry partners to develop and implement new 6G sensing and communication applications. Minimum Qualification A PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer science or a related field. . Proven knowledge and experience in wireless communications and radar domains. . Deep understanding of wireless signals, DSP algorithms and multiple-antenna concepts. . Expertise in wireless propagation and multi-dimensional system optimization. . Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or C++. . Excellent written and oral communication skills. Preferred Qualification . Expertise in integrated sensing and communication systems for 5G or 6G networks, including hardware and software design. . Proven Knowledge in beamforming designs and positioning technologies.
